The city’s first-ever restaurant week, a 16-day event which started on February 16th and will last until the 3rd of March, features fresh selections of exquisite delicacies guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds. Inspired by Chicago's Restaurant Week, which successfully happened last month, Naperville’s own version of the event is expected to be a huge success as well. Who can resist sampling these exquisite food selections with a twist of Naperville’s unique charm? With many local restaurants participating in the program, customers can expect a wide variety of culinary options to choose from. Some diverse and adventurous choices include From Asian, Italian, and Mexican cuisines to tantalize your tastebuds!  As an additional treat, some restaurants offer a prix-fixe menu with 3 courses and 3 options of each course while others offer discounts on their menu items.

Aside from being a culinary celebration, this event also aims to give local businesses a boost. “Restaurant Week is a great example of how we promote shopping locally," Ray Kinney, board member of the Naperville Development Partnership said in an interview with TribLocal, a local newspaper. "Many cities do it as a way to entice people to dine in restaurants they have not tried yet at a time in the season when restaurants experience fewer diners. In Naperville all restaurants are encouraged to participate."
